The North High School Library is committed to providing opportunities for students and staff to become effective users of information and to fostering an environment that encourages intellectual curiosity and independent, creative thinking.

What's the difference between a school library and a public library?

In general, the school library strives to meet the needs of students and staff and focuses primarily on school curricula and age-appropriate recreational reading and resources.  A public library is often viewed as meeting the needs of the entire community which also includes students.
